Academy children meeting cast of Horrible histories at BAFTA

The academy was set up in Jan 2016 for Home educated Aspergers /Autistic/ PDA girls who did not flourish emotionally in school and therefore home educated.

Academy aim is to prevent isolation and to seek inspiration and friendship in special activities and small meet ups for those unable to attend larger events. We promote inclusion to friends and siblings .

The academy recieves no funding and it purely a voluntary mission to find special events for our children in the UK and support ,participate and be a part of them.

Events since Jan 2016 have included Arts and Crafts community event days at RISC centre Reading UK in October , Attending and presenting at the Principia School conferences with Tim Peake ,Portsmouth University in November,a workshop tour on "Making Laws " at the Houses of Parliments December 2016 .BAFTA premiere of CBBC Horrible Histories with actor Q and A ,Traditional Christmas Panto, CyberFirst Girls coding competition for the British Cyber Security ,Shreks Adventures Westminster for World Autism Day 2017,London 2017 Summer Parachampionships at Queen Elizabeth Park , Animalalphabet Autism friendly show ,a traditional pantomime visit to beauty and the beast , And the UKs first All Autistic TED Ed club and conference in October 2017.

Upcoming events include a “Slime Making event “ at RISC Reading to celebrate Autism Awareness month on 31st March 2018.
